Text Box:

Christmas Eve at the Snowmass Chapel is my favorite event of the entire year.  This year we had 28 singers and 11 instrumentalists to make it all happen!

I think that people intuitively realize that putting together this kind of musical offering requires a lot of time and volunteer hours, but even so, if you have never been involved with something like this, it is hard to imagine all of the choir, bell and orchestra rehearsals that everybody has to commit to during the busiest time of the entire year for many of us.  Nevertheless, it is a great feeling when it all culminates and we are standing in a sanctuary packed with people from all walks of life, making beautiful music with all of our hearts.  I know that for me personally, it is often the most rewarding experience I will have for the entire year.

I am truly grateful to each person who made a contribution, whether of musical talent, volunteer time, financial support, coming to the service, or even viewing it via a website like this.  Thank You.

There are generally two big productions for the Chapel Choirs every year, and they are Christmas and Easter.  If you are a musician and you would like to be part of what we do here, please see the “Contact” page on this website and get in touch with me.  If you have the financial means to help underwrite the cost of bringing in the extra musicians from all over the valley, we could use your help too.  If neither of these are an option, we are just grateful to have you participate by viewing the service, whether you are physically present at the Chapel or via one of our online video streams.

As always, I welcome your constructive feedback and ideas as well as your prayers and encouragement.   Espressivo!
